Caring For Your Cushyknit

It is important to continue to look after your Cushyknit once it arrives in your home. Our wool is of the highest quality and standard but it is very delicate which means you'll have to handle with care and do a few things to keep it in it's best form.

Merino Wool

100% Merino Sheep Wool is the most luxurious wool on the market. It has the following benefits:

  • Super soft to touch

  • Safe against the skin of children and adults meaning it is suitable for those with skin allergies.

  • Anti-microbial and stain resistant making it much more hygienic than a usual throw,

  • Body temperature regulating.

To look after your Merino wool purchase:

  • Shake out gently when it arrives to you to adapt back to shape.

  • Use for decorative purposes more than for use.

  • Stroke regularly in one direction to revive pilling and pull away any loose fibres.

  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry. I recommend spot cleaning any spillages.
